The tourist attraction established in 1955 illustrates the life and customs of Lancaster County's Amish residents and descendants on a centuries old farm. Pennsylvania founder William Penn presented the farm to colonial Gov. John Evans in 1715. Visitors can see the 207-year-old house with authentic Amish rooms, Pennsylvania Dutch barn, Tobacco shed, blacksmith shop, windmill, animal farm, one-room schoolhouse and artisans at work. Experience the simplicity and charm of the Amish way of life and bring home a locally-made souvenir.
