The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree has been a holiday tradition for more than 75 years as the giant Norway Spruce is lit every year in front of a crowds and oftentimes on television. The tree has ranged in size from 69 to 100 feet tall and nearly 20,000 lights decorate the Midtown Manhattan Landmark. It is put up in late November and taken down after Jan. 6. The tree decorated has originated from all around the country and even Canada.
